Freshness finefoods Information

Which granolas are in this range?

Four granolas are sold under the Freshness Finefoods name. Coconut Almond Crunch (300 g) is led by almonds and walnuts with seeds and coconut chips, sweetened with honey and muscat raisins. Cranberry Nut Crunch (400 g) is a rolled oat granola with almonds, seeds, cranberries and coconut chips, sweetened with honey. Boysenberry Macadamia Crunch (280 g) combines almonds, macadamias and seeds with freeze dried boysenberries, sweetened with agave syrup and pure maple syrup. Cocoa Chia Crunch (370 g) is a rolled oat granola with almonds, seeds, cocoa powder and dark chocolate, sweetened with honey.

How do the four differ?

Cranberry Nut Crunch and Cocoa Chia Crunch list rolled oats as their first ingredient. Coconut Almond Crunch and Boysenberry Macadamia Crunch do not list oats. Three of the four list honey as the sweetener, and Boysenberry Macadamia Crunch uses agave syrup and maple syrup instead. Each is suggested for a breakfast bowl, over yoghurt or as a snack.

What should I check on the pack?

All four contain almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, so each is a nut and seed product. Coconut Almond Crunch also contains walnuts and sesame, and Cocoa Chia Crunch contains soy and gluten. Under the FSANZ allergen labelling rules, these allergens must be declared on the label, so the pack is the place to confirm the details for the bag in your hand.
