Qualified naturopaths and nutritionists
One on one with a qualified practitioner

Reviewed by Christina Hanley, BHSc (Nutritional Medicine), Health Content Lead · 17 August 2026 · How we review
A ten-minute online consultation with a qualified naturopath or nutritionist from our online team. Tell them what you are trying to sort out, and get a straight answer about what will help, what will not, and whether a supplement is even the right move.
This booking reaches our online practitioner team. It is not a booking with a specific practitioner at a specific store, so if you want to speak with someone in particular, their profile will tell you how to reach them.
Free, with no obligation to buy anything.

- A qualified person Our online team are qualified naturopaths and nutritionists, not a call centre. See who is on the team
- Advice before product If a supplement is not the answer, we will tell you that. The standard we hold ourselves to
- Trusted since 1992 Free qualified advice has been the point of Mr Vitamins since the first store opened. Our story
- Free, and no obligation There is nothing to buy at the end of it. You can take the advice and leave. Why we do this
In the ten minutes
What we will talk about
No two people are the same, so the conversation starts with your circumstances rather than a product. Depending on what you bring, a practitioner may ask about any of the following.
- What you are trying to achieveMore energy, better sleep, a specific concern, or just where to start.
- Your diet and lifestyleThe everyday things that usually matter more than any supplement.
- Medication you takeSo we can flag anything that may interact before you buy it.
- Health conditions you are managingWhat is safe and sensible alongside the care you are already under.
- What you have already triedIncluding anything that did not work, which is often the more useful half.
- Which product actually suits youForm, dose and quality, not just the brand with the loudest label.
What a free consult is not
Being clear about the edges of this is more useful to you than overselling it.
- We do not diagnose medical conditions. If something needs diagnosing, we will say so and point you to your GP.
- It is not a substitute for advice from your GP, specialist or other registered healthcare provider. It sits alongside them.
- We do not prescribe or adjust prescription medication. Bring your list so we can flag interactions, and take any changes back to your prescriber.
- Ten minutes is a starting point, not a full clinical workup. If your situation needs more, we will tell you and point you at a longer consultation.
- It is not a sales call. There is no purchase required and no follow-up sequence.

Read our editorial policyCommon questions
- Is the consultation really free?
Yes. The 10-minute online consultation is free and there is no obligation to buy anything. Free qualified advice has been part of Mr Vitamins since the business started in 1992, and longer clinical consultations are available separately with individual practitioners.
- Who will I be speaking to?
A qualified practitioner from our online team. This booking is not with a specific practitioner at a specific store. If you want to speak with someone in particular, check their profile in the practitioner directory: some take individual bookings, and all of them can be found in the store listed on their page.
- Can you diagnose my symptoms?
No. Our practitioners do not diagnose medical conditions, and a consultation is not a substitute for advice from your GP, specialist or other registered healthcare provider. What we can do is help you understand your options and choose a product that suits your circumstances.
- What should I have ready?
A list of any medication and supplements you currently take, and one sentence on what you are hoping to improve. Ten minutes goes quickly, and knowing what is already in the mix is what lets a practitioner give you a useful answer rather than a general one.
- Do I have to buy something afterwards?
No. There is no purchase required, before or after. If the honest answer is that you do not need a supplement, that is the answer you will get.
- Can I get advice in store instead?
Yes, and you do not need an appointment. There are qualified naturopaths and nutritionists on the floor in our stores. Find your nearest store, or look up a practitioner in the directory to see which store they work from.
