Fibre Boost

Fibre Boost makes cold pressed protein bars from whey and milk protein isolate and soluble prebiotic fibre from corn, in more than 80 flavours. Every bar contains milk, so none suit vegans. Nutrition figures differ by flavour.

Fibre Boost Information

What is in a Fibre Boost bar?

Fibre Boost makes cold pressed protein bars, and every flavour in the range lists the same base: soluble prebiotic fibre from corn, whey protein isolate and milk protein isolate, sweetened with steviol glycosides. No sugar appears in any ingredient list. Nearly all flavours add almonds, and many add cocoa, cocoa butter, coconut or fruit. Cold pressed means the bar is formed under pressure rather than baked. Start with Choc Hazelnut or Brownie to see how a full ingredient list and nutrition panel read.

How do the numbers compare between flavours?

Where a flavour page publishes a nutrition panel, a 60g bar lists 20.0 to 21.8g of protein and 24.1 to 27.3g of dietary fibre. Energy runs from 135 to 165 Cal where it is listed, and the highest figures sit on flavours such as Salted Almond and Caramel Honey Macadamia. Some flavour pages give approximate figures only, so the pack is the final word for the bar in your hand.

Who are these bars not suitable for?

Every flavour contains milk, so the bars are not suitable for vegans or anyone with a milk allergy. Nearly all also contain almonds, and most carry a may-contain note for other tree nuts and peanuts. Allergen statements differ by flavour, so read the one for the flavour you choose. For other options, browse protein bars and snacks or healthy snacks.

Where are the bars made?

The Fibre Boost website describes the bars as Australian made and owned, and Fibre Boost Pty Ltd appears on the ABN register as an active Australian private company. The register does not record where bars are manufactured, and some flavour pages state Made in Australia while others do not.
