Description
YouthIt High Strength Fish Oil is an Australian listed medicine built on concentrated fish omega-3 triglycerides. Each soft capsule carries 500mg of concentrated fish oil delivering 270mg of eicosapentaenoic acid and 180mg of docosahexaenoic acid, so 450mg of the 500mg is EPA and DHA. That concentration is what lets a small capsule carry the omega-3 load that would otherwise take several standard fish oil capsules, and it is why the pack is flagged at 90 per cent omega-3. The oil is flavoured with lemon oil and vanillin to reduce fishy repeat. It is the 60 capsule pack. It is indicated for eye health, joint health, cardiovascular system and heart health, brain function and brain health, nervous system health and function, and healthy eye development in children up to 12 years of age.
Product Strengths
- Concentrated, not standard strength: 450mg of the 500mg of fish oil in each capsule is EPA and DHA.
- 270mg EPA and 180mg DHA per capsule, both as equivalents of the concentrated fish omega-3 triglycerides.
- A small capsule for the dose, which is the point of a concentrate.
- Lemon oil and vanillin are included in the formulation to make the capsules easier to take.
- d-alpha-tocopherol is included as an antioxidant to protect the oil.
- The listing permits indications covering eye health, joint health, cardiovascular system and heart health, brain function and brain health, nervous system health and function, and healthy eye development in children up to 12 years of age.
- Listed on the ARTG as AUST L 409674, sponsored by Yarra Vibe Pty Ltd, and the listing is Active.
