Nursing Tea

Weleda Nursing Tea is a certified organic herbal tea of fenugreek seed, anise seed, fennel seed, caraway seed and lemon verbena leaves, in individually wrapped filter bags. It was developed with midwives and pharmacists for the breastfeeding period, and it is naturally caffeine free, with a mild, aromatic, faintly aniseed flavour. Brew it and drink it warm through the day, three cups a day, as part of the fluid you take in while you are nursing.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For

Suitable for: Breastfeeding mothers; vegans; anyone avoiding caffeine.

Not suitable for: Anyone allergic to anise, anethole or plants of the Apiaceae (carrot) family. Not for use during pregnancy without advice from your health care provider.

Suggested Use

Use one tea bag per 200 mL of freshly boiled water and leave to brew for 5 minutes. Three cups a day through the nursing period. Confirm serving and directions from product label.

Ingredients

All the herbs are grown and harvested to Weleda quality standards and are certified organic by BCS OEKO-GARANTIE GMBH, Germany. No flavourings, preservatives or sweeteners are added.

Allergens

Anise, fennel and caraway are seeds of the Apiaceae (carrot) family, which can cross react with celery, and fenugreek is a legume. No other allergens are declared for this pack. Always review label for full list of ingredients.

Warnings

Do not use if you are allergic to anise, anethole, plants of the apiaceae (Carrot) family or any of the ingredients in this tea. If you have celery allergy, experience acute abdominal pain, have diabetes or are undergoing hormonal therapy, consult a health professional before use. Use with caution in individuals with kidney and heart disease. If you experience a skin rash, discontinue use and consult your doctor. This product is intended for lactating women, and should not be used during pregnancy without consulting with your health care provider.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place away from strong odours, and keep the box closed.
