Metagenics UltraFlora IBS Soothe Probiotic is a single-strain capsule delivering Lactobacillus plantarum 299v at 20 billion CFU. One strain, one number, and no blend around it, which is what a practitioner wants when a specific strain has been chosen. It comes as the 30 capsule bottle; Metagenics also makes a 60 capsule size. The strain is for adults working on day to day digestive comfort, and it is supplied on its own so a practitioner can match the dose to the person.
