| Standardised to contain curcuminoids | 100 mg |
Sources diverge on how this active is expressed, so both readings are reproduced. The tablet contains Curcuma longa (turmeric) ext. 500 mg, derived from fresh rhizome min. 16.5 g (16,500 mg), std. to contain curcuminoids 100 mg. The ARTG formulation line for AUST L 393972 reads Curcuma longa rhizome extract dry concentrate standardised 100 mg, equivalent to Curcuma longa (fresh) 16,500 mg. The same active is also expressed as curcumin (phospholipid complex) 500 mg, equivalent to curcumin 90 mg. The 16,500 mg fresh rhizome equivalent is agreed by the pack and the ARTG.
