Description
Thompson's Echinacea Complex, sold for many years as Triplex, is a herbal oral liquid built on three species of echinacea rather than one. Two are root extracts of Echinacea angustifolia and Echinacea pallida, and the third is Echinacea purpurea, present twice over as a standardised root extract and as an extract of the flowering herb top, which brings a different balance of plant constituents to the bottle. It comes as a 200 mL liquid, which suits anyone who finds tablets and capsules difficult to swallow, and it is taken diluted in a little water or juice.
