Thompson's One-A-Day Valerian 2000 contains a high-strength valerian extract in a convenient one-a-day capsule, with each capsule providing the equivalent of 2g (2000mg) of dry valerian root standardised to valerenic acids. Based on its traditional use in Western herbal medicine, valerian is taken to help reduce sleeplessness and to relieve nervous tension and excess nervous energy.
