Original Colloidal Copper is a 100% natural copper mineral suspended in distilled mountain rainwater. Colloidal Copper has traditionally been used as a remedy for grey hair, burns, arthritis, parasites, and viral and bacterial infections.
Copper is a common metal found throughout the world, in homoeopathy copper is used to treat cramps, convulsions, nervous disorders, sexual organ imbalances, and mental and physical exhaustion from over-exertion of the mind or from loss of sleep.

Is copper permitted in Australian supplements?
Yes, with conditions. Copper itself is item 1556, for homoeopathic use only, and copper gluconate is a separate entry, item 1563, for other products. Both cap the maximum daily dose at 5 milligrams of copper. There's no permitted health claim specific to copper in Australia, so a compliant product won't make one.
Why isn't copper sold as its own supplement very often?
Because the only ways it can go into an Australian listed medicine are as a homoeopathic ingredient or as copper gluconate, both capped at 5 mg of copper a day. Most Australian products include copper as one ingredient in a multi-mineral formula instead of selling it on its own.
