THE MONDAY FOOD CO. Milky Mumma Almond Berry Crunch is a crunchy 400 g oat based granola full of good things: rolled wholegrain oats and shredded coconut with almonds and almond meal, pepitas, sunflower seeds, linseed and chia seeds, currants and dried cranberries, sweetened with coconut nectar and tapioca syrup and finished with cinnamon. Enjoy it with milk or yoghurt, spoon it over fruit or a smoothie bowl, or nibble it dry as a snack.

- A breakfast granola, and a topping for yoghurt, milk, fruit and smoothie bowls.
- Rolled wholegrain oats are the first ingredient.
- Almonds, plus almond meal, pepitas, sunflower seeds, linseed and chia seeds.
- Currants and dried cranberries for the berry note, and cinnamon through it.
- Sweetened with coconut nectar and tapioca syrup.

Suitable for: Breakfast and snacking; topping yoghurt, milk and smoothie bowls; the ingredient list contains no animal products.

Whole and blanched for eating, meal and flour for baking, butter for spreading, milk for drinking. Which one you want depends entirely on what you're doing with it.

Common questions
What's the difference between almond meal and almond flour?
Meal is usually ground with the skins left on, so it's coarser and flecked brown. Flour is normally made from blanched almonds with the skins removed, so it's finer and paler. Recipes often use the names interchangeably, and either works in most baking. Check the pack if the colour or texture of the finished thing matters to you.
Are almonds regulated as a medicine in Australia?
Almond is a permitted ingredient in listed medicines, as item 476 of the Permissible Ingredients Determination, where it's used as an excipient. But almonds sold as food, whole, meal, butter, oil or milk, sit under food standards law instead, not the medicines framework. No almond-specific permitted indication was found.
