Description
Switch Nutrition Beef Protein Isolate is a hydrolysed protein powder built on HydroBEEF, a grass fed European beef protein isolate, rather than on whey or on collagen. It is naturally dairy free and lactose free, it carries a complete amino acid profile, and because it comes from beef it also brings the glycine, proline and hydroxyproline associated with connective tissue. It comes as the 25 serve pack in Choc Sea Salt, about 750 g of powder at a 30 g scoop. For someone who trains hard but finds whey sits heavily, it does the same work after a session or between meals, with no dairy or lactose in the tub at all.
Product Strengths
- Adds about 25 g of protein towards the day's protein target in one scoop.
- HydroBEEF hydrolysed grass fed beef protein isolate as the sole protein source.
- Naturally free from dairy and lactose, so it is an option where whey does not agree with you.
- Added L-leucine and the DigeZyme digestive enzyme blend.
- Seasoned with pink Himalayan sea salt and sweetened with stevia, with no artificial colours, sweeteners or preservatives.
- Twenty five 30 g serves per pack.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Those avoiding dairy; Active adults and athletes.
Not suitable for: Vegans and vegetarians, because it is animal derived; Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; Pregnant or breastfeeding women, unless advised by a health professional; Children under 15 years of age, and pregnant women, except under medical or dietetic supervision.
Suggested Use
Add one 30 g scoop to 300 mL to 450 mL of water, almond milk or your preferred liquid and shake until smooth. It suits use after training, as a way of lifting daily protein intake, or as a snack between meals.

Sea Salts
Salt from evaporated seawater rather than a mine.
Same compound as table salt underneath, with traces of other minerals that give it its colour and flavour. Flake size is what changes how it behaves in cooking.

Is Sea Salts right for you?
Common questions
Is sea salt different from table salt?
Chemically they're the same thing. Sodium chloride. Sea salt is evaporated from seawater and keeps small traces of other minerals, which is where the colour and the flavour differences come from. Table salt is usually mined and refined, and often has iodine added. For Australian regulatory purposes both are sodium chloride.
Does sea salt count as a supplement?
Not usually. Sodium chloride is a permitted listed ingredient with no conditions attached, but sea salt sold for cooking is a food under the Food Standards Code. Bath salts are a different use again. Which rules apply depends on what the product is sold for rather than on what's in it.
