Swisse Beauty Hair Nutrition for Women is a soft capsule bringing together biotin, silicon from colloidal anhydrous silica, iron, zinc, selenium, iodine, copper, manganese and the vitamins A, B5, B12, C and E, with a standardised grape seed extract and vitex (Vitex agnus-castus). Two capsules a day is the adult dose. It comes as the 60 soft capsule bottle. Women take it to support hair growth and hair health and to maintain hair strength and thickness.

Not suitable for: vegans and vegetarians, because the capsule shell contains gelatin and the fill contains yellow beeswax; women who are pregnant or considering becoming pregnant, unless their doctor or pharmacist advises otherwise, because of the vitamin A; anyone taking oral contraceptives or other hormone medicines without first speaking to a health professional; anyone already taking another selenium or vitamin A supplement; anyone sensitive to soya beans, sulfites or phenylalanine; children.

Other ingredients (excipients): acacia, gelatin, glycerol, iron oxide black, lecithin, maize starch, maltodextrin, purified water, soya oil and yellow beeswax.

Suggested Use

Adults: two capsules daily, during or immediately after a meal, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Allergens

Contains phenylalanine, soya beans and sulfites. The capsule shell is made with gelatin, an animal derived ingredient, and the capsule fill contains soya oil and yellow beeswax. Made without added lactose, yeast, egg, artificial flavours or artificial colours. Always review label for full list of ingredients.

Warnings

• Contains iron. Keep out of reach of children.
• The recommended daily amount of vitamin A from all sources is 700 micrograms retinol equivalents for women and 900 micrograms retinol equivalents for men. When taken in excess of 3000 micrograms retinol equivalents, vitamin A can cause birth defects. If you are pregnant, or considering becoming pregnant, do not take vitamin A supplements without consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
• This product contains selenium, which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
• Vitex agnus-castus may affect hormones and medicines such as oral contraceptives. Consult your health professional before use.
• Not for the treatment of iron deficiency conditions.
• Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
