Description
SweetLeaf Sweet Drops are a liquid stevia sweetener that adds a touch of sweetness and flavour to your favourite drinks and treats, one drop at a time. Sweetened with stevia leaf extract, they come in a handy 60 mL dropper bottle and two tempting flavours, Chocolate and Vanilla Crème. Being a liquid, they stir straight into hot or cold drinks and food, so a few drops are all it takes to sweeten your morning coffee, tea or smoothie.

Common questions
Is stevia a medicine or a food in Australia?
Mostly a food. Stevia sold as drops, powder or tablets for sweetening falls under food standards law, where its sweet compounds are additive 960. Stevia rebaudiana is also a permitted ingredient in listed medicines (item 4768), but that only applies to a product making a health claim. There's no approved health claim for stevia.
What's the difference between stevia leaf and steviol glycosides?
Stevia leaf is the plant itself. Steviol glycosides are the sweet compounds extracted from it, and most stevia sweeteners are built on them. Australian rules treat the two separately, so you'll see both names on labels. Check the ingredient list if you want to know exactly what's in the pack.
