SUPERFEAST Turkey Tail

SuperFeast Turkey Tail is a single ingredient extract powder made from Trametes versicolor, the banded, fan shaped bracket fungus that grows on fallen broadleaf and coniferous wood. The mushrooms behind it are wild harvested Di Dao from the Changbai Mountains of northern China, and only the fruiting body is used. It is water extracted and concentrated at 10:1, so 10 kg of dried mushroom yields 1 kg of powder, and no grain, starch or filler is carried into the pack. The powder is mild and faintly woody and stirs in without fuss. Stir about half a teaspoon into hot water or plant milk for an instant tonic tea, or work it into coffee, a smoothie, a broth or a meal; the 1 kg bag is the bulk size, for a household that drinks it daily or for refilling smaller jars.

Ingredients

• Trametes versicolor (turkey tail mushroom) fruiting body, 10:1 water extract powder.

Nothing else is added. The 10:1 ratio means 10 kg of dried mushroom is used to make 1 kg of powder.

Suggested Use

Adults: start with a quarter to half a teaspoon a day, about 1.4 g. Stir it into hot water or plant milk for an instant tonic tea, or add it to coffee, a smoothie, a broth or a meal. It works in hot and cold drinks. The 1 kg bag holds about 714 serves.

Storage
