Description
SuperFeast Eucommia Bark is a single ingredient extract powder made from the trunk bark of Eucommia ulmoides, the Chinese rubber tree. The semi wild bark is taken from trees eight to ten years old, folded and sun dried, then dual extracted in spring water and rice alcohol and concentrated at 10:1. Warm and sweet with a faint pungency, it is lovely with about half a teaspoon in hot water or plant milk once or twice a day, or in milk and honey, a hot chocolate or a broth.
Product Strengths
- Stir about half a teaspoon into hot water or plant milk, once or twice a day.
- Also goes into coffee, broths and meals.
- Warm, sweet and faintly pungent, which is why it works so well in warm milk with honey.
- Semi wild bark from trees eight to ten years old, sun dried before extraction.
- Dual extracted in spring water and rice alcohol, then concentrated at 10:1.
- One ingredient only.
- The 100 g Miron glass jar.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: adults adding a single ingredient bark extract powder to hot or cold drinks, broths or meals. Made from a plant ingredient only.
Not suitable for: children, and anyone with a latex allergy or sensitivity, because Eucommia ulmoides contains natural latex. If you take blood thinning or blood pressure medication, check with your prescribing doctor first. There is no safety data for eucommia bark in breastfeeding, so speak to your health professional if that applies to you.
Ingredients
- Eucommia ulmoides (eucommia bark) 10:1 dual extract powder.
Nothing else is added. The 10:1 ratio means 10 kg of dried bark is used to make 1 kg of powder.
Suggested Use
Adults: take about half a teaspoon once to twice a day. Start with a quarter to half a teaspoon daily. Stir it into hot water or plant milk for an instant tonic tea, or add it to a hot or cold drink, a broth or a meal.
Nutrition Information
Read the nutrition panel from the pack.
Allergens
No allergens are declared for this pack.
It contains eucommia bark, which carries natural latex, so avoid it if you have a latex allergy or sensitivity. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, such as a kitchen pantry. Keep the jar sealed between uses and leave the desiccant sachet in it, because the powder takes up moisture.
