Description
Springfields Organic Jojoba Oil is a certified organic carrier oil in a 30 mL bottle. It is not an essential oil: jojoba is pressed from the seeds, or beans, of the jojoba shrub and is technically a liquid wax ester rather than a true fixed oil. Because those wax esters are close in structure to the skin's own surface lipids, jojoba absorbs readily and sits lightly on the skin. Use it on its own, add a few drops to a moisturiser, or use it as the base for diluting pure essential oils.

- Certified organic, carrying ACO certification according to the manufacturer.

Extraction: the seed is pressed; it is described as cold pressed in some listings, while the pack states only that it is extracted from the beans (seeds).
Country of origin: not declared for this bottle. Springfields is Australian made and owned, and the oil is certified organic under ACO.
How to Use
Massage a few drops directly onto clean skin, or blend a few drops into your usual moisturiser for extra hydration. Massage into hair and scalp as a nourishing treatment and rinse out, or smooth a very small amount through dry ends. As a carrier oil, jojoba is also the base you dilute pure essential oils into before any skin contact: a usual guide for adults is 1 to 3 per cent, which is roughly 1 to 3 drops of essential oil in 5 mL of jojoba.
Safety
- For external use only. This is a cosmetic oil and is not intended to be swallowed.
- Patch test on a small area of skin before first use and discontinue if irritation, redness or itching develops.
- Avoid contact with the eyes. If the oil gets into the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Jojoba is a seed derived oil. Do not use if you have a known sensitivity to jojoba.
- Oils can make surfaces, floors and bath bases slippery, so take care after use.

Store below 30 degrees C with the cap firmly closed, away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
