Description
Simply Natural Oils Tea Tree Ointment is a firm, old fashioned balm with the clean, sharp scent of tea tree essential oil, carried in apricot kernel oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and beeswax. It comes in an 80 g screw top jar, and a little goes a long way. Smooth it over small patches of dry or rough skin on hands, elbows, knees and heels, where a lotion would simply sink in and disappear.
Product Strengths
- A heavy balm for small patches of dry or rough skin, where a lotion sinks in and disappears.
- Leaves a soft, matt film on hands, elbows, knees and heels.
- Carries the clean, sharp scent of tea tree essential oil.
- A plant oil, butter and beeswax base: apricot kernel oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and beeswax.
- 80 g jar, and a little goes a long way.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Adults wanting a rich balm for small areas of dry skin.
Not suitable for: Vegans, because it contains beeswax; anyone with a known allergy to tea tree oil, apricot kernel, shea, cocoa or bee products; and broken skin.
Tea tree oil causes a skin reaction in some people, so patch test on a small area first and keep the jar away from infants and pets.
Ingredients (INCI)
- Tea tree essential oil.
- Apricot kernel oil.
- Cocoa butter.
- Shea butter.
- Beeswax.
Suggested Use
Take a small amount on a clean fingertip and smooth over the area, morning and night or as needed. Keep it away from the eyes and off broken skin. Confirm the directions from the product label.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees C in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and screw the lid on firmly. The balm softens in warm weather and sets again as it cools.
