Weight Gainers
Extra calories and protein in one scoop.
Building size takes more protein and calories than most people can eat in a day. A weight gainer packs both into one shake, so you're not cooking three extra meals to hit your numbers.

Is Weight Gainers right for you?
Common questions
Will a weight gainer just make me fat, not muscly?
It can, if your training doesn't match the extra calories. In a trial of elite athletes, the group on a bigger calorie surplus gained more total weight than the group on a moderate surplus, but most of the extra was fat: 15% more body fat compared with 3%, with no real difference in lean mass between the two groups. The extra calories only build muscle if your training gives your body a reason to use them.
Is a weight gainer a medicine or a food?
It's a food. Most weight gainers are regulated under the Food Standards Code as a formulated supplementary sports food, not a therapeutic good, and the label has to say so. It also has to carry a warning that it isn't suitable for anyone under 15 or for pregnant women.
