PURE Performance + Capsules are blackcurrant capsules from the New Zealand sports nutrition brand PURE, each one holding a soft concentrate of Ribes nigrum fruit alongside vitamin C in a vegetarian shell. The fruit is New Zealand grown, and every batch carries HASTA certification, the Australian programme that screens sports supplements for substances banned in sport. The same capsule is also sold under the name Race Ready Anthocyanins. It is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as an adaptogen, to help the body adapt to stress.
