Description
Reishi, or Ganoderma lucidum, is a hard, fan-shaped polypore fungus that grows on hardwood and has been used in East Asian herbal traditions for around two thousand years, where it is known as lingzhi. It is one of the group of fungi now sold as functional mushrooms, and it is studied for its content of beta-glucan polysaccharides and triterpenes, the ganoderic acids that give the raw mushroom its notably bitter taste. Primabolics Reishi Mushroom Capsules provide Ganoderma lucidum as the single ingredient, with no fillers and no proprietary blend, in a capsule bottle that is Australian owned and manufactured.
