Creatine hydrochloride is the form of creatine in which the creatine molecule is bound to a hydrochloride group. That bond makes it more soluble in water than creatine monohydrate, which is the basis on which the form is marketed at smaller serve sizes and positioned for people who find monohydrate sits heavily.
