Description
Power Super Foods Lucuma Powder is the dried, milled flesh of the lucuma fruit, a bright yellow subtropical fruit that grows on trees native to the Andean valleys of Peru. The fruit is hand harvested and dried at low temperatures, then ground to a fine, pale powder with a butterscotch, maple and caramel flavour and a creamy texture. Known as the gold of the Incas, it is still a favourite ice cream flavour in Peru. Stir it into yoghurt, porridge, smoothies and hot or cold drinks, or use it to carry a caramel note through raw treats, chia puddings, nut milks and desserts.
Product Strengths
- Stirs into yoghurt, porridge, smoothies and hot or cold drinks without cooking.
- Carries a butterscotch note through raw and baked treats, chia puddings, nut milks, ice cream and desserts.
- Brings its own natural sweetness, so recipes often need less added sweetener.
- Butterscotch, maple and caramel flavour with a creamy texture and a soft aroma.
- Certified organic, with lucuma as the only ingredient.
- Hand harvested in Peru and dried at low temperatures rather than heat treated.
- Packed in Australia in a sealed bag.
- It comes as the 185 g pack.
