Description
Planet Organic Turmeric Tea is a single herb infusion: certified organic turmeric root, cut for the bag, with nothing blended over the top of it. It comes as 25 compostable tea bags with no strings, tags or envelopes, and it brews a deep gold cup with the earthy, slightly bitter, peppery flavour that turmeric carries over from the kitchen. One bag on freshly boiled water is ready in three to four minutes, and because there is no tea leaf in it the cup is naturally caffeine free, which makes it as easy in the evening as in the middle of the day.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: everyday drinking, including late in the day, since it is naturally caffeine free. The only ingredient is the root, so it suits vegan and vegetarian diets.
Not suitable for: Anyone allergic or sensitive to an ingredient on the pack.
Suggested Use
Place the tea bag in a cup or teapot and use one bag per person. Add freshly boiled water and infuse for three to four minutes, then lift the bag out.
For iced tea, brew two bags in 250 mL of hot water and let it cool. For a stronger cup, add a second bag rather than steeping for longer, which is what makes turmeric turn bitter. A slice of lemon suits it.
