Description
Planet Organic Ginkgo Loose Leaf Tea is certified organic ginkgo, cut from the fan shaped leaf of one of the oldest tree species still growing. Dry, it is a pale olive cut leaf; brewed, it makes a light straw coloured infusion, grassy and faintly bitter at the finish, closer to a green garden herb than to a fruit tisane. Half a teaspoon to a teaspoon steeped for four to five minutes makes a mug, and with no caffeine in it the cup sits as easily at night as in the afternoon.
Product Strengths
- Brews as a light, grassy infusion, straw coloured with a faint bitter finish.
- Drinks in the afternoon or the evening, with no caffeine to work around.
- Half a teaspoon to one teaspoon per 250 mL mug, steeped four to five minutes.
- Cut leaf rather than powder, so it strains cleanly out of an infuser or pot.
- Certified organic ginkgo and nothing else.
- Certified organic, accredited by Australian Certified Organic.
- Packed in Australia from imported ingredients.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Vegan and vegetarian diets, and anyone avoiding caffeine. The only ingredient is a dried leaf.
Not suitable for: Anyone who has been advised by a health professional to avoid ginkgo.
Suggested Use
Boil the kettle and prepare an infuser or teapot. Use half a teaspoon to one teaspoon of leaf per 250 mL of hot water. Pour freshly boiled water over the leaf and brew for four to five minutes. For a stronger cup, add an extra teaspoon of leaf. Remove the infuser, or pour from the teapot.
Ingredients
- Certified organic ginkgo.
Allergens
The ingredient list runs to one line: certified organic ginkgo. Read the allergen statement on the pack before use. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Nutrition Information
