Echinacea Teabags

Planet Organic Echinacea Plus is a certified organic infusion built on echinacea, with green tea, lemongrass and spearmint blended around it. Echinacea on its own is grassy and slightly tingling on the tongue, so the green tea gives the cup a savoury backbone, the lemongrass a citrus lift and the spearmint a cool, sweet finish. One bag infuses in a mug in four to five minutes; the green tea in the blend means it carries caffeine, so it drinks better in the morning or through the afternoon than last thing at night.

Suggested Use

Place a tea bag in a cup or teapot. Use one tea bag per person. Add fresh boiling water and allow to infuse for 4 to 5 minutes. For a stronger cup, add a second bag rather than steeping for longer, which pulls bitterness out of the green tea. For iced tea, use two tea bags per 250 mL and chill. Drink it black; it is not a tea for milk.
