Description
Planet Organic Earl Grey is a certified organic black tea scented with natural bergamot. The base is a full bodied black leaf and the bergamot sits over it as bright citrus and a soft floral edge rather than a perfume note, so the tea keeps its malt and body. The bergamot character comes from an oil based natural flavouring rather than a pure bergamot essential oil. One bag makes a strong mug in four to five minutes, it carries caffeine as any black tea does, and it takes milk, lemon or nothing at all at any hour of the day.

- A morning and afternoon tea rather than an evening one, since the black leaf carries caffeine.

- Compostable cellulose tea bags sealed with plant based fibres, with no strings, tags, staples or envelopes.

Suggested Use
Place a tea bag in a cup or teapot. Use one tea bag per person. Add fresh boiling water and allow to infuse for 4 to 5 minutes. For a stronger cup, add a second bag rather than steeping for longer, which draws tannin and turns the tea bitter. For iced tea, use two tea bags per 250 mL and chill. It carries milk without losing the bergamot, and a slice of lemon is the traditional alternative.
