Suggested Use

Let the pillules dissolve under the tongue rather than swallowing them whole; they are taken up in the mouth, so hold them there for several minutes. Unless doses are very frequent, take one half an hour before a meal or between meals, and leave at least ten minutes either side of food or a drink. Avoid peppermint toothpaste, strong peppermint tea and ordinary coffee around a dose, and do not smoke, brush your teeth, gargle or drink alcohol within half an hour of taking it. Do not handle the pillules: roll them into the lid of the vial and tip them straight under the tongue, and use a teaspoon for infants and small children. A pillule that is dropped is discarded rather than returned to the vial. When more than one medicine is being taken, separate the doses by at least ten minutes. Storage
