Orthoplex White is a practitioner-only range from Bio Concepts. This ingredient is for use in extemporaneous compounding (the preparation by suitably qualified health professionals of a therapeutic product for an individual patient in response to an identified need). Use it only under the guidance of your healthcare practitioner and follow the directions they give you.
Orthoplex White Zinc Picolinate is a single-ingredient zinc picolinate oral powder supplied in a 25g tub. It is a compounding raw material rather than a finished dose form, so it carries no consumer serving size: the quantity is set by the practitioner who compounds it. Picolinic acid is produced in the body from the metabolism of tryptophan and forms a complex with zinc in the intestinal lumen, which is the reasoning behind this choice of zinc form.
