Orthoplex White is a practitioner-only range from Bio Concepts. This product is supplied to patients who have completed a consultation with us. Use it only under the guidance of your healthcare practitioner and follow the directions they give you.
Orthoplex White S.F.M Xcell is a practitioner-only film coated tablet supplied in a 60 tablet bottle. Each tablet combines tyrosine 500mg and inositol 300mg with a Withania somnifera root extract, the trace minerals selenium, zinc, iodine and chromium, and a full set of activated B vitamins including calcium folinate and hydroxocobalamin. The tablets are large and the label directs that they are swallowed with a glass of water. Iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function, and Bio Concepts positions S.F.M Xcell for thyroid and nervous system support and for maintaining metabolic rate.

- Amino acid and inositol base: Tyrosine 500mg and inositol 300mg in every tablet.
- Extract and herb equivalent stated separately: Withania somnifera root extract dry concentrate 300mg, equivalent to 3.75g of dry root. The extract weight and the dry herb equivalent are different numbers.
- Activated B vitamins: Vitamin B6 as pyridoxal 5-phosphate monohydrate, folate as calcium folinate 271mcg equivalent to folinic acid 250mcg, and vitamin B12 as hydroxocobalamin 500mcg.
- Trace minerals declared elementally: Selenium 75mcg from selenomethionine, zinc 10mg from zinc citrate dihydrate, iodine 100mcg from potassium iodide and chromium 15mcg from chromium nicotinate.

On each pair the first figure is the weight of the extract or the salt and the second is the dry herb or the nutrient it yields; the two are not interchangeable. Manufacturing excipients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, carnauba wax, colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, glycerol, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, purified water. Incidental excipients: nil.
Allergens
Bio Concepts states it is gluten free, dairy free, soy protein free and sulfites free, and the pack is marked vegan friendly. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Large tablet: swallow with a glass of water. This medicine contains selenium, which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms of selenium for adults from dietary supplements should not be exceeded; at the labelled dose of two tablets a day this product supplies 150 micrograms of selenium, so do not combine it with another selenium supplement without advice from your health professional. Contains nicotinic acid, which may cause flushing. Stop taking this medication if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your healthcare practitioner as soon as possible. Contains vitamin B6. If pregnant or likely to become pregnant, consult a pharmacist or a doctor before use. This product contains iodine; if you have a thyroid condition or take thyroid medicine, speak to your health professional before use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
Suggested Use
Adults: take 1 tablet twice daily, one hour before a meal, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
Storage
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
