Orthoplex White is a practitioner-only range from Bio Concepts. This product is supplied to patients who have completed a consultation with us. Use it only under the guidance of your healthcare practitioner and follow the directions they give you.
Orthoplex White Metibol Xcell is a practitioner-only hard capsule combining three standardised or concentrated herbal extracts with alpha lipoic acid, biotin and two forms of chromium. It comes as the 60 capsule bottle. Each capsule provides alpha lipoic acid 300mg, biotin 1mg and 300mcg of chromium in total, drawn from chromic chloride hexahydrate and chromium picolinate, alongside black seed, cinnamon and gymnema extracts. Metibol Xcell also comes in a 120 capsule bottle. Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism, and Bio Concepts positions the gymnema, cinnamon and black seed extracts alongside it as a metabolic formula for patients under practitioner care.

- Extract and herb equivalents stated separately: Each capsule carries Nigella sativa seed extract dry concentrate 50mg, equivalent to 1g of dry seed, and Cinnamomum cassia stem bark extract dry concentrate 75mg, equivalent to 1.5g of dry bark. The extract weight and the dry herb equivalent are different numbers.
- Standardised gymnema: Gymnema sylvestre leaf extract dry concentrate 75mg, equivalent to 1.5g of dry leaf and standardised to gymnemic acid 33.8mg per capsule.
- Two chromium sources: Chromium 275mcg from chromic chloride hexahydrate plus chromium 25mcg from chromium picolinate, giving 300mcg of chromium per capsule.
- Free-from profile: Bio Concepts states it is gluten free, dairy free, soy protein free and sulfites free, and lists it as suitable for vegans and vegetarians.

On each herbal pair the first figure is the weight of the dry concentrated extract and the second is the quantity of dry herb it represents; the two are not interchangeable. Manufacturing excipients: ascorbyl palmitate, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silica, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, water. Incidental excipients: maltodextrin.
Allergens
Bio Concepts states it is gluten free, dairy free, soy protein free and sulfites free, and lists it as suitable for vegans and vegetarians. The capsule shell is hypromellose, a plant-derived material, not gelatin. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Warnings
Keep out of reach of children. Nutritional, vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Do not use if the tamper evidence seal is broken.
Suggested Use
Adults: take 1 capsule twice daily with food, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
