Description
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Pre-Workout is a powder taken before training, built around a short list of named ingredients rather than an undisclosed blend. Each 10 g scoop carries 175 mg of caffeine from natural sources, 3 g of creatine monohydrate and 1.5 g of beta-alanine, alongside L-citrulline, acetyl-L-carnitine, N-acetyl-L-tyrosine and a group of B vitamins. It comes as the 300 g tub of 30 serves in Blueberry Lemonade, Fruit Punch, Green Apple, Pineapple, Strawberry Lime and Watermelon, plus the larger 550 g tub of 55 serves in Blueberry Lemonade and Watermelon. Made up in the twenty minutes or so before training, it is for the sessions where starting is the hard part, and the caffeine sits low enough that it suits people who find the high strength pre-workouts too much.

Suggested Use
Mix 1 scoop (10 g) into 180 to 240 mL of cold water and drink it 15 to 30 minutes before training. Start with one scoop to assess your tolerance and do not take it within a few hours of bedtime.
