Oat Mylk Smooth & Creamy Choc

Ombar Oat M'lk Smooth and Creamy is the plain bar of the oat range: 70g, with a minimum of 40% cocoa solids. Unrefined cane sugar leads and oats come next, and it is the oats that make it so creamy, with unroasted cacao, cocoa butter, vanilla extract and a little desert salt alongside them, so it eats like a milk chocolate bar. It is certified organic to the Organic Food Federation, GB-ORG-04, and fair trade certified to the Fair for Life standard.

Suggested Use

• Break off a square or two at a time; the 70g bar is moulded to snap along its lines.
• It eats well with coffee, black tea or a glass of red.
• Chop it into biscuits, brownies or a pan of hot milk alternative for a hot chocolate.
• Let it come up to room temperature before you eat it if it has been in the fridge, because cold chocolate tastes flat.

Storage

Store the bar in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight, and keep it away from anything strongly scented, because chocolate picks up smells. Chocolate kept warm can bloom and go pale or streaky on the surface. That is cocoa butter coming out of solution rather than spoilage, and the bar is still good to eat.
