Description
Supporting strong bones and healthy muscles starts with the right foundations — and NutriVital Calcium + D3 delivers both key nutrients in a single, convenient tablet. Each tablet provides 300 mg of calcium sourced from two complementary forms — calcium citrate and hydroxyapatite — alongside 500 IU of vitamin D3 (colecalciferol), which helps the body absorb calcium effectively. This TGA-registered formula helps support bone health, muscle function, and immune system health, while calcium also helps maintain cardiovascular system function. Adults take 1–2 tablets daily with water.

What does calcium do for your bones?
Nearly all your calcium lives in your bones, which act as a bank your body draws on when you don't eat enough. Pair your calcium with vitamin D, which is what lets you absorb it.

How the forms compare
Common questions
Should I take calcium on its own or with vitamin D?
With vitamin D, based on the evidence. Across 15 trials in 51,126 adults, the combination reduced fractures of any kind, and the evidence was high certainty. Vitamin D alone made no difference across 36 trials in 92,045 people. Calcium alone sat in between and didn't reach significance. Vitamin D is what lets you absorb calcium, so the pairing isn't a marketing decision.
What's the difference between calcium carbonate and calcium citrate?
How much calcium they contain and how you take them. Carbonate is 40% calcium by weight, so you get more per tablet, but it needs stomach acid and is best taken with food. Citrate is about 21%, so tablets are bigger or doses smaller, but it absorbs without stomach acid. If you take antacids or reflux medicine, citrate is usually the better choice.
Can I take too much calcium?
Yes, and this is one where more isn't better. The upper limit is 2,500 mg a day from all sources, food included. Randomised evidence found that 1,000 mg of calcium carbonate with vitamin D raised the risk of kidney stones. If you've had a stone before, talk to us or your doctor before you start.
