Description
Nutra-Life Super Calcium Complete is a bone support tablet that draws its calcium from two sources at once. Half the calcium in each film coated tablet comes from calcium citrate and half from StimuCal, a New Zealand made hydroxyapatite, giving a total of 250 mg of elemental calcium per tablet. Magnesium sits alongside it at 125 mg, a 2 to 1 calcium to magnesium ratio, with vitamin D3, vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7, zinc, manganese and horsetail extract as cofactors. It comes as two bottle sizes, 120 tablets and 250 tablets.
Product Strengths
- Total calcium 250 mg per tablet, split evenly between calcium citrate tetrahydrate and hydroxyapatite, the ingredient sold as StimuCal.
- Magnesium 125 mg per tablet from magnesium oxide, giving a 2 to 1 calcium to magnesium ratio.
- Vitamin D3 as colecalciferol 6.2 micrograms, equivalent to 248 IU per tablet. Vitamin D helps calcium absorption.
- Vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 at 6 micrograms per tablet.
- Equisetum arvense (horsetail) stem extract dry conc. 5 mg per tablet, equivalent to 50 mg of dried stem.
- Helps maintain bone health, bone strength, bone mineralisation and bone mass, density and integrity.
- A diet deficient in calcium can lead to osteoporosis in later life. Calcium may help prevent osteoporosis when dietary intake is inadequate.
- Helps prevent dietary calcium, magnesium and manganese deficiency, including in elderly individuals.

Allergens
Contains animal products and soya bean products. The hydroxyapatite is an animal derived bone mineral, so it is not suitable for vegans or vegetarians, and the soy declaration means it is not suitable for anyone with a soy allergy. Formulated without gluten, wheat, dairy products, egg, artificial flavours, artificial sweeteners or preservatives. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Suggested Use
Adults: take 1 to 2 tablets twice daily with meals, or as directed by your healthcare professional. That is 2 to 4 tablets a day.
Warnings
Contains magnesium, which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet, and vitamins can only be of assistance if dietary intake is inadequate. Calcium can reduce the absorption of some medicines, including certain antibiotics and thyroid medicines, so separate doses and talk to your pharmacist. If you take a blood thinner, speak to your doctor before taking a product containing vitamin K2. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless a health professional advises otherwise. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, consult your healthcare practitioner.
