Description
Australian Gelatin is an unflavoured bovine gelatin powder, sourced from Australian grass fed beef and supplied as a 300 g pack holding about 30 serves of 10 g. It dissolves into hot liquid and sets firm on chilling, and a 10 g serve carries 8.8 g of protein with no fat and no carbohydrate. Stir it into tea or coffee, or use it to set gummies, jellies, marshmallows and mousse and to thicken sauces and gravies.

Suggested Use
As a drink: add about 1 tablespoon (10 g) to your hot liquid of choice, such as tea or coffee. You can bloom the gelatin first if you prefer.
To set a gel: bloom the gelatin by adding about a quarter of a cup (40 g) to half a cup of water, a ratio of one part gelatin to two parts water, and stir until the texture is even. Add the bloomed gelatin to 250 mL of any hot liquid with your chosen flavouring and stir until dissolved. Pour into a mould and refrigerate for at least two hours to set. Use less gelatin for a softer set and more for a firmer one.
