Description
Nurofen Zavance Liquid Capsules 200mg contain ibuprofen 200 mg in each red, oval, translucent soft gelatin capsule, with 10 capsules in the pack. They are taken with water by adults and children from 12 years, with a clear maximum dose in 24 hours. The capsules contain sorbitol. Always read the label and follow the directions for use.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Not suitable for: Anyone allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines; anyone with a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorder, or kidney, liver or heart problems; women in the last 3 months of pregnancy; and, unless a doctor has said so, anyone with asthma, anyone aged 65 years or older, anyone trying to become pregnant or in the first 6 months of pregnancy, anyone taking other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines or taking medicine regularly, children under 12 years of age, and children with chickenpox (varicella) or dehydrated through diarrhoea or vomiting; use for more than 3 days at a time, unless a doctor has said so; anyone avoiding sorbitol or gelatin.

Suggested Use
Take with water. Adults and children from 12 years: 2 capsules, then 1 or 2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as necessary (maximum 6 capsules in 24 hours).
There is no direction for children under 12 years.

Contains sorbitol. The capsule is gelatin, so these capsules are not vegetarian. No other allergen statement is published.

- for more than 3 days at a time.
- if you have asthma.
- if you are taking other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
- if you are trying to become pregnant or during the first 6 months of pregnancy.
- in children suffering from chickenpox (varicella).
- in children suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
