Description
Nature's Own Slippery Elm 400mg is a single ingredient herbal capsule: 400 mg of inner stem bark powder from Ulmus rubra, the slippery elm tree, in a hard gelatin capsule. Slippery elm bark is a mucilage, so the powder thickens in water, and the capsule can be pulled apart and stirred into a drink instead of swallowed. It is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a demulcent, to soothe irritated tissues and to relieve mild gastrointestinal tract inflammation, and it is taken 5 minutes before a meal.

Suggested Use
Adults: take 4 capsules once daily, 5 minutes before a meal, or as recommended by your healthcare professional.
