As the name suggests, our Apple Cider Vinegar is made from organic apple cider. Organic whole apples are pressed to get juice, which is fermented into alcoholic cider and then fermented a second time to convert the alcohol to acetic acid and create the beloved health tonic and cooking vinegar we know as ACV.

Vessels with traces of vinegar have been uncovered dating back to 6000 B.C.E. It was Hippocrates (circa 400 B.C.E.) who first started prescribing apple cider vinegar for a variety of illnesses, a general preventive and for wound care.

ACV is shelf stable with a long shelf life which can be used for a multitude of purposes.

Our Nature First Apple Cider Vinegar is certified organic, and made in New Zealand, bottled in Melbourne.

Apple cider vinegar is rich in potassium, enzymes, many organic acids and trace minerals. Potassium is know to promote youthful skin, perhaps this is why ACV has been known as an elixir of youth.

There are findings that regular use of ACV may be helpful to aid digestion, suppress appetite and assist with weight loss, it may support immunity and 'kick start' your metabolism in the morning.

Apple Cider Vinegar has been used for centuries for cold and immunity remedies, cleansing regimes, as a natural cleaning product, for personal care, in dressing and marinades, for pickling and preserving and to enhance flavour and season foods.

Nature First organic ACV can be used in cooking, dressings and as a health tonic.

Health & digestion tonic: add one tablespoon to a glass of water or herbal tea. Drink first thing in the morning to kick start your metabolism, or after a heavy meal to aid digestion. Add our raw honey to sweeten, and for an extra immunity boost, if you like.

Use ACV as a non-alcoholic alternative to wine in cooking as it retains the flavour profile of the cider it was made from. Use 1/4 the quantity of ACV that you would use white wine in a recipe - the flavour is more intense and tart.

You can even use it for cleaning, add it to the bath or use it as a skin cleanser when diluted.

Our ACV can be used in many ways, it is up to your imagination and health needs.
