Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: People who want a tampon made only from certified organic cotton, in the regular absorbency.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients; wearing overnight, which is not recommended; anyone advised by a health professional not to use an internal period product; and anyone who needs to confirm latex content before use; check the pack.
Ingredients
Tampon: 100% certified organic cotton, and nothing else.
Wrapper: widely recycled plastic. Box: cardboard.
Check the pack for information on latex and superabsorbent polymers.
- Cotton certified to the Global Organic Textile Standard under certificate GOTS-11347, held through The Soil Association, scope all Natracare cotton.
- Certified organic as an end product by The Soil Association under licence HB00303, scope Natracare tampons and wipes.

Suggested Use
Unwrap the tampon with clean, dry hands by tearing the coloured strip, and tug the string to check that it is attached. Hold your index finger at the flared base, aim upwards and backwards towards the small of your back, and leave the string outside. Natracare's own guidance is to change a tampon every 4 to 6 hours, to alternate between tampons and pads, and to go for the lowest absorbency you need. Read the instruction leaflet inside the pack before use.
Warnings
- Natracare's own guidance is to change a tampon every 4 to 6 hours and to alternate between using tampons and pads.
- Natracare does not recommend wearing a tampon while you are sleeping, because it is likely to be left in too long.
- Read the instruction leaflet inside the tampon pack for how to use tampons safely to avoid risks associated with toxic shock syndrome (TSS).
- Read the warnings printed on the pack and on the leaflet inside it before use, and follow them.
- Remove the tampon and seek medical advice promptly if you feel unwell while wearing one.
- Natracare's own advice is always to go for the lowest absorbency that you need.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place with the box closed, and leave each tampon in its wrapper until you use it.
Disclaimer
Always read the instruction leaflet inside the pack and follow the directions for use, including the manufacturer's own safety guidance. Remove the tampon and seek medical advice promptly if you feel unwell while wearing one. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.

100% Certified Organic Cotton
suggested dose
Unlike the applicator style, this tampon is inserted using your longest finger which tucks into the flared end of the tampon to enable the tampon to be pushed into place. Deciding between an applicator and non-applicator tampon is generally a matter of personal preference.
