Description
MooGoo's tanning cream is a moisturising self-tan for the body and face. The colour comes from two tanning agents rather than from UV: dihydroxyacetone (DHA) from a canola source, which reacts with keratin at the skin surface, and erythrulose, a glucose-based agent that shifts the tone away from orange. Around them sit sweet almond, coconut and olive oils, green tea leaf extract and hops extract, with no parabens or phenoxyethanol. MooGoo now supplies it as the Natural Tanning Cream, the replacement for the How Now Brown Cow Gradual Tanning Moisturiser. Use it when you want a tanned look on the skin without sitting in the sun, reapplying as the colour wears off.
Product Strengths
- Builds a tanned look on the skin without sun exposure.
- Sits in a body routine on clean skin, after exfoliating and before dressing.
- Colour comes from two agents working together, canola-based dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and glucose-based erythrulose, for a tone that reads brown rather than orange.
- Moisturising oils run through the cream, so it doubles as a body moisturiser.
- Made with sweet almond, coconut and olive oils.
- Carries green tea leaf extract, pear extract and hops extract.
- Made without parabens or phenoxyethanol.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Adults wanting colour on the face and body without sun exposure.
Not suitable for: Anyone allergic to tree nuts, as it is made with sweet almond oil. Broken or irritated skin, and the area around the eyes; Vegans, because it contains a dairy ingredient.
Suggested Use
Apply to clean, dry skin and rub in evenly over the body and face. For an even finish, exfoliate first and wait a few minutes before dressing. Wash your hands well after applying, since colour develops on the palms too. Reapply as the colour fades with the natural shedding of the skin surface.
