Description
Mindful Foods Raw Kelp Meal Tasmanian is kelp harvested in Tasmania and milled to a coarse meal, with nothing else in the jar. It is raw, dried rather than cooked, and the grind is fine enough to shake or spoon straight over a dish. Use it as a savoury seaweed seasoning: a pinch over salads, soups, noodles and stews, stirred through vegetable juices and smoothies, or worked into flax and sesame crackers.
Product Strengths
- Seasons salads, soups, noodles and stews with a savoury, briny seaweed flavour.
- Stirs through vegetable juices and smoothies.
- Goes into kelp, flax and sesame crackers.
- One ingredient only, which is the raw Tasmanian kelp itself.
- Raw, dried rather than cooked, and milled to a coarse meal.
- Harvested in Tasmania and packed in Australia, in a glass jar.
Warnings
Kelp is naturally high in iodine. Use it as a seasoning, in small amounts, rather than by the spoonful. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a thyroid condition, or take thyroid medication, talk to your health professional before adding kelp to your diet. Read the iodine content from the pack.
