Description
Mindful Foods Linseed is whole organic linseed, the seed of the flax plant and the same seed sold elsewhere as flaxseed, grown in Australia and packed into a glass jar with nothing added to it. The seeds are small, hard and glossy, with a mild, nutty flavour that suits sweet and savoury cooking equally. Soak them and they soften and thicken, which is how they go into porridge, yoghurt, smoothies, bread and seed crackers.
Product Strengths
- Soaks and softens into porridge, yoghurt and smoothies.
- Works into bread, cakes and seed crackers.
- Mild and nutty, so it sits behind both sweet and savoury flavours.
- Whole organic linseed and nothing else.
- Australian grown.
- Gluten free.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Those avoiding gluten; Everyday snacking and meals.
Not suitable for: Anyone with an allergy to the listed ingredients.
Suggested Use
Soak the seeds before use, then sprinkle them over yoghurt or fruit, stir them into smoothies, or work them into bread and cakes. They also make good seed crackers with kelp, sesame and a pinch of salt.
