Lysine Shield is a practitioner-only film-coated tablet from Metagenics pairing lysine hydrochloride with vitamin C, zinc and a standardised astragalus root extract. It comes as the 60 tablet bottle. Lysine is an essential amino acid the body cannot make for itself, and Metagenics brings it together with astragalus, vitamin C and zinc in one practitioner-directed tablet rather than leaving them to be taken separately.
