Description
Melrose Australian Flaxseed Oil is a cold-pressed edible oil made from Australian-grown flaxseed and bottled in amber glass. It comes as the 500 mL bottle, which is 25 servings of 20 mL. Melrose fine filters the oil so it can be kept at room temperature before opening, which is what separates it from the brand's certified organic flaxseed oil, a different product that is refrigerated from the start. Stir it through a smoothie or over breakfast cereal, whisk it into a salad dressing or vinaigrette, or drizzle it over vegetables and baked potatoes.
Product Strengths
- Stirred through a smoothie or over breakfast cereal.
- Whisked into a salad dressing or vinaigrette, or drizzled over vegetables and baked potatoes.
- Cold pressed from Australian-grown flaxseed with nothing else added.
- Each 20 mL serving supplies 10 g of omega-3 as alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and 2.8 g of omega-6 as linoleic acid.
- Plant based, so it suits people who prefer not to take fish oil.
- Pack carries vegan, kosher certified, gluten free and GM free marks and a Product of Australia mark.
Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Those avoiding gluten; Cooking and dressing.
