Description
Melrose Apricot Kernel Oil is a single ingredient oil pressed from the kernel inside the apricot stone. It is light in texture and pale in colour, with a slight aroma and a mild nutty taste, and it has two uses: as a facial and body oil, including as a carrier oil for massage and for diluting essential oils, and as a finishing oil in the kitchen. This store record covers two bottle sizes, 250 mL and 500 mL.
Product Strengths
- One ingredient, 100 per cent apricot kernel oil, with nothing added.
- Light texture that sinks in quickly, which is why it is used as a facial oil.
- Works as a carrier oil for diluting essential oils and for massage.
- Naturally contains vitamin E.
- Food grade, so the same bottle can be used for finishing and salads as well as on skin.
- It has a high smoke point and can be heated to approximately 250 degrees Celsius.
- Two sizes on this pack, a 250 mL bottle and a 500 mL bottle.
- Melrose Laboratories is an Australian company that has been making oils since 1984.
