Description
Calendula, the common marigold, is the gentlest of the Martin & Pleasance herbal creams and the one most often kept for children's skin. Every gram carries 100 microlitres of Calendula officinalis flower liquid extract, equivalent to 20 mg of dried calendula flower, in the same paraben free base of rice bran oil, castor oil, glycerol and beeswax that the rest of the range uses. It is traditionally used in European herbal medicine to soothe skin inflammation, to relieve skin irritation and the symptoms of nappy rash and mild eczema, and to help the healing of bruises, minor cuts and mild burns and sunburn.

Suitable For / Not Suitable For
Suitable for: Topical use on unbroken skin, in a nappy bag, a first aid kit or a bathroom cabinet. It contains beeswax, so it suits vegetarians.
Not suitable for: Use on broken skin, and anyone avoiding beeswax or ethanol.
For external use only. Do not use if the security seal is broken. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional. Keep out of reach of children.

Contains ethanol.

No food allergens are declared. It contains white beeswax, so it is not suitable for vegans, and it contains ethanol. Always review label for full list of ingredients.
Suggested Use
Massage a moderate amount into the affected area three times daily. For external use on unbroken skin only.
Warnings
Only to be used for minor burns after initial first aid treatment; medical advice should be sought for serious burns. Immediate treatment of burns should be application of cold water for ten minutes. Always read the label and follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
Storage
Store below 30 degrees C, away from direct sunlight.
