Description
Lotus Slippery Elm Bark Powder is milled from the inner bark of the slippery elm tree, which is native to North America. The inner bark contains mucilage, which is why the powder thickens and turns slick as soon as it meets liquid. It is sold as a plain single-ingredient powder with nothing added. It comes as three pack sizes, confirmed by barcode: 125 g (9317127060789), 250 g (9317127063087) and 1 kg (9317127060864). It is taken as a drink rather than cooked with: stir a heaped teaspoon into water, warm milk or a smoothie and drink it before it thickens too far.
