Description
Lotus Polenta is maize ground into a meal, rich yellow in colour with a slightly sweet flavour. Cooked with liquid it sets into a soft or firm polenta to serve in place of rice, potato or pasta; used dry it gives a crisp coating and a coarse crumb in baking. This is the 500 g resealable pack. Whisk it into simmering stock for a soft polenta to serve under a ragu, or set it in a tray, cut it into fingers and grill or fry them; used dry it gives fish, chips and biscuits a sandy crunch.
