Description
Lotus Organic Demerara Sugar is a partially refined cane sugar in a 500 g bag, with large golden crystals and the caramel note that comes from the molasses left behind during processing. It behaves like a raw sugar in the kitchen: it dissolves into a batter, and scattered over the top of a muffin, crumble or biscuit before baking it stays crunchy. Scatter it over muffins, crumbles and biscuits before they go into the oven, where the big crystals stay crunchy, or stir it into coffee and baked custards for the caramel note.

- Work it into a dry rub or a glaze for pork, where the caramel note suits.
- Organic demerara sugar and nothing else.
- Certified organic by Australian Certified Organic (ACO).
- Coarse golden crystals that hold their crunch as a topping.
- 500 g resealable bag.

How to Use

Storage
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and reseal the bag after opening to stop the crystals clumping.
